For Dr. Gina Merritt, where she works is almost important as the work she does. Of course, as a Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine, Gina Merritt believes that few other things in life are more
important than the actual work she does.
But, when it comes to her professional life, Gina Merritt is picky about
where she wants to be. However,
pickiness is a good thing in this case!
In the past, Gina Merritt has completed
residencies and done other work at Yale-New Haven Hospital and at the West
Haven, VA Hospital. However, Merritt
believes that not even these institutions top Middlesex Multispecialty Group, which
is located in Middletown, Connecticut.
Merritt thinks so highly of Middlesex
Multispecialty Group for one reason: the people. From phenomenal staff to the patients she
values so much, Gina Merritt believes that it’s the people at Middlesex Multispecialty Group that make the place so
special. Merritt loves her place of
work, and has no interest in going elsewhere.
Gina Merritt is the first to admit that
there are bigger and better facilities all over the country, but she believes
that the close and intimate nature of Middlesex Multispecialty actually makes
for better care in the long run. She
often tells patients that they may be able to get cutting edge technology by
traveling all over North America, but they won’t find the same personal touch
that is at Middlesex Multispecialty Group.
Of course, the medical doctors and other
doctors of osteopathic medicine at Middlesex are more than qualified! Gina Merritt, herself, holds four
certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). In addition to standard ABIM certification,
Gina Merritt is certified in Pulmonary Disease Medicine, Critical Care
Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
